Ledum

Ledum oil is diffused from the flowering tops of an evergreen shrub and has been used for centuries for many conditions. The aroma is woodsy and herbaceous. It comes from our Northern Lights Farm in Canada and has been known also as Labrador Tea or Marsh Tea because a tea was made from the plant and the pioneers of the west used it to stay strong. It’s a key ingredient in JuvaCleanse and our GLF Oil Blends and traditionally was used to support proper energy flow and release. It is considered spiritually cleansing, harmonizing and balancing.

Ledum is anti-inflammatory, anti-cancerous, antitumoral, protects the liver, is antiviral, a nerve stimulant and a diuretic. Some uses I found for it are helpful for inflamed lymph nodes, tumors, thyroid regulation, edema, prostate support, influenza, warts, asthma, coughs, colds, bronchitis, hoarseness, flu, fevers, laryngitis, allergies, kidney-related problems, urinary tract issues, liver problems like hepatitis and fatty liver, varicose veins, blood pressure, shingles, skin conditions, viral hepatitis, ADD/ADHD, addiction based disorders.

Ledum works on emotions and the mind by providing grounding and releasing emotions like anger, dissatisfaction, obsession, anxiety and negative memories. It can help you feel spiritually centered. Nice to use during meditation, yoga, prayer or in a massage.

Ledum can be diffused, inhaled taken in a capsule or applied topically or on your vita-flex points. You can put 2-4 drops on a specific location like your abdomen, temples or energy centers. Add it to a drop of V-6 and massage it into your ear lobes, crown of your head, spine.

Here is a recipe I found for Petrochemical weight loss using Ledum. Add 10 drops of Ledum to a 15ml bottle of Citrus Fresh. Before bed dab the oils over areas of concern and massage into the skin. This will help break up the fat where toxins are stored. Then take 20 drops of Grapefruit Oil in a capsule to help digest and flush out the toxins.
